Why you can't buy it today
Honest answer: selling service contracts in the US requires state-by-state obligor licensing and financial backing, and we refuse to sell coverage before that's in place. The licensing work is on our roadmap; the engineering of the product — failure data, repair costs, parts channels — is what this site is quietly building in public.
